This Heater Bypass Valve Kit installs in place of the Factory Heater Control Valve(HCV). This new valve allows for continuous flow of coolant which ensures that the stock thermostat performs correctly under all A/C operating conditions. Without this valve upgrade, the engine may exhibit an overheating condition if the car is not driven immediately after start up.
